Notifications & Announcements

Flavor Hub keeps you informed through two systems: Notifications and Announcements.

Notifications

Notifications are product-specific updates pushed by the team. You'll see them via the bell icon in the portal header.

How They Work

  • A badge on the bell icon shows your unread notification count
  • Click the bell to open the Notifications page
  • Each notification shows the product name, title, message, and date
  • Click to mark as read, or use "Mark All as Read"

Notification Targeting

Notifications are targeted based on your status:

  • All subscribers — visible to anyone with an active subscription
  • Licensed only — visible only if you have an active license for the specific product

Email Notifications

Some notifications may also be sent via email (in addition to the in-app notification), depending on the notification type.

Announcements

Announcements are prominent messages displayed in the portal — banners on the dashboard, popups, or even on the login page.

Placement

Announcements can appear in different locations:

  • Dashboard — at the top of your portal dashboard
  • Popup — as a modal dialog when you log in
  • Login page — visible to everyone, even before logging in

Personalization

Announcements may include personalized content using your name, email, or company. They are also targeted by:

  • Account type (Customer, Developer, Reseller, Agency)
  • Partner model (Referral, Managed)
  • Subscription status

Dismissing

If an announcement is dismissible, you can close it by clicking the dismiss button. Dismissed announcements won't appear again. Non-dismissible announcements (typically critical ones) remain visible until removed by the team.
