License Activation

Activating Your License​

Theme License​

  1. Go to Appearance → Flavor Options → License
  2. Enter your license key
  3. Click Activate
  4. The page will show your license status and tier

Plugin License​

  1. Go to eCommerce → Settings → License
  2. Enter your license key
  3. Click Activate
  4. Features will unlock based on your tier

Activation Process​

When you activate a license:

  1. Your license key is sent to the FlavorTeam license server
  2. The server verifies the key and checks domain availability
  3. A secure fingerprint token is generated and stored on your server
  4. The activation is confirmed and features are unlocked

Deactivation​

To move your license to a different domain:

  1. Go to the license settings page
  2. Click Deactivate
  3. Your domain slot is freed
  4. Activate on your new domain

Troubleshooting​

"Invalid license key"​

  • Double-check the key format: FLVR-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX
  • Ensure there are no extra spaces
  • Copy-paste directly from your portal account

"Maximum activations reached"​

Your tier has a domain limit. Options:

  • Deactivate an existing domain to free a slot
  • Upgrade your license tier for more domains
  • Staging domains (.test, .local, .dev) don't count

"Connection failed"​

  • Your server needs outbound HTTPS access to license.flavorteam.dev
  • Check if a firewall is blocking the connection
  • Verify the sodium PHP extension is installed

"Fingerprint verification failed"​

The secure fingerprint file may have been corrupted or moved:

  1. Deactivate your license
  2. Re-activate — a new fingerprint will be generated
  3. If the issue persists, check file permissions on wp-content/
tip

The license system includes a 14-day grace period. If the server is temporarily unreachable, your store continues working normally.
