Activating Your License

The easy way — from the Flavor page

If you set up with the Flavor Core plugin, activate everything from one place — you don't have to visit each product's screen.

1. In your WordPress admin sidebar, click Flavor to open the main Flavor page.
2. Enter your license key(s): your Plugin key and Theme key — or just the Theme key if you chose Theme Only. Keys look like FLVR-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.
3. Click Activate & Install Products.

Flavor Core activates the license, then downloads and installs your products and their components automatically. See The Flavor Dashboard for what you'll see next.

Prefer to activate a product on its own screen instead? Use the options below.

Theme License

1. Go to Appearance → Flavor Options → License
2. Enter your license key
3. Click Activate
4. The page will show your license status and tier

Plugin License

1. Go to eCommerce → Settings → License
2. Enter your license key
3. Click Activate
4. Features will unlock based on your tier

Activation Process

When you activate a license:

1. Your license key is sent to the FlavorTeam license server
2. The server verifies the key and checks domain availability
3. A secure fingerprint token is generated and stored on your server
4. The activation is confirmed and features are unlocked

Deactivation

To move your license to a different domain:

1. Go to the license settings page
2. Click Deactivate
3. Your domain slot is freed
4. Activate on your new domain

If Your License Expires

A lapsed subscription never takes your store down. If a renewal hasn't gone through yet, your store stays online and keeps taking orders — pages, products, checkout and your data are untouched, and nothing is ever deleted. What pauses until you renew are the premium capabilities: premium payment gateways (cash on delivery and bank transfer stay available), the ERP suite, and premium theme modules — along with updates, new installs and support. To keep even those running while you sort out the renewal, Flavor offers an opt-in grace period:

• As your renewal date approaches — and again once a license expires — a banner appears in your WordPress admin. On it you'll see an Activate grace period button.
• Turning it on keeps everything running at the full capacity of your plan for a limited number of days while you renew. The exact number of days is shown right on the banner (it's set on your license — 14 days by default).
• One activation covers both the theme and the plugin — you only need to do it once.
• While the grace period is active, the banner shows how many days remain and a link to renew. You can turn it off again at any time with Deactivate grace.
• When the grace period ends (or if you don't turn it on), the premium capabilities above pause until you renew — your store itself keeps running and taking orders.

Renew from your Flavor Hub Portal. Renewing restores everything automatically — nothing to reinstall or reconfigure. Your store returns to full capacity on its next license check, or immediately if you click Verify on the License screen.

The grace period is optional and something you switch on yourself — it is never turned on automatically, and it applies only when a license has expired. A license that has been suspended or revoked cannot use it.

Your store does not depend on a constant connection to our license server. License checks are cached and refreshed automatically about every 12 hours, so if the server is briefly unreachable your store keeps working normally and premium features stay unlocked — verification simply resumes on its own once the connection is restored.
