Licensing & Updates

The Flavor Starter Theme and WP eCommerce Core Plugin use a tiered licensing system to manage feature access and automatic updates.

How It Works

1. Install the Flavor Core Plugin on your WordPress site
2. Activate your license from the main Flavor page
3. Install products directly from the dashboard — Theme and Plugin are downloaded automatically
4. Features unlock based on your license tier
5. Updates are managed from the main Flavor page

Plans

Flavor has two plans, Starter and Business — a license is required to activate and install the products in the first place, and each license covers one site. There is no free version. (That applies to activation: if an already-running store's subscription lapses later, the store stays online — see below.)

• Starter — the complete online store: products, every payment method, couriers, marketplace feeds, and the storefront modules.
• Business — everything in Starter, plus the full ERP (Invoicing with myDATA, Inventory, Purchasing, Accounting, CRM, HR) and the developer modules.

What happens if your subscription lapses?

A lapsed subscription never takes your store down. Your store stays online and keeps taking orders — pages, products, checkout and your data are untouched, and nothing is ever deleted. Premium capabilities pause until you renew (premium payment gateways — cash-on-delivery and bank transfer stay available — the ERP suite, and premium theme modules), and updates, new installs and support stop. An opt-in grace period (14 days by default) keeps everything at full capacity while you renew; renewing from your portal restores everything instantly.

License Key Format

License keys follow this format:

FLVR-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

The last group is a checksum for validation.

Support Portal

Manage your licenses at admin.flavorteam.dev:

• Download the latest versions
• View your active licenses
• Manage domain activations
• Create and manage licenses for client sites (partner program)

Security

Your license is protected by multiple verification layers:

1. License Key — HMAC-signed key validation
2. Domain Binding — License is tied to your specific domain
3. Fingerprint — Ed25519 signed token stored on your server
4. Periodic Verification — Automatic check every 12 hours
