Licensing & Updates
The Flavor Starter Theme and WP eCommerce Core Plugin use a tiered licensing system to manage feature access and automatic updates.
How It Works
- Install the Flavor Core Plugin on your WordPress site
- Activate your license from Flavor → Dashboard
- Install products directly from the dashboard — Theme and Plugin are downloaded automatically
- Features unlock based on your license tier
- Updates are managed through the Flavor Core Dashboard
License Tiers

License Key Format
License keys follow this format:
FLVR-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX
The last group is a checksum for validation.
Support Portal
Manage your licenses at admin.flavorteam.dev:
- Download the latest versions
- View your active licenses
- Manage domain activations
- Create sub-client licenses (Developer/Reseller/Agency plans)
Security
Your license is protected by multiple verification layers:
- License Key — HMAC-signed key validation
- Domain Binding — License is tied to your specific domain
- Fingerprint — Ed25519 signed token stored on your server
- Periodic Verification — Automatic check every 12 hours

Staging domains (localhost, .test, .local, .dev, .staging) don't count toward your domain limit.
