Creating Licenses

Required Role

License creation requires Developer, Reseller, or Agency account type. Customers receive licenses automatically with their subscription.

Self-Service License Creation

Go to Create License in your portal to create licenses manually.

Single License

  1. Select the Product (Flavor Starter Theme or WP eCommerce Core)
  2. Choose the Tier (Starter or Business)
  3. Set the Expiry (or leave as default — 1 year for client licenses, lifetime available for self-use)
  4. Optionally assign to a Client (Reseller/Agency only)
  5. Click Create

Bulk Creation

Resellers and Agencies can create multiple licenses at once:

  1. Select product, tier, and expiry
  2. Set the Quantity (up to 100 at a time)
  3. Optionally assign to a client
  4. Click Create — all licenses are generated simultaneously

Managed Model — Special Rules

If you're a partner using the Managed model:

Prepaid Mode

License creation for clients goes through a site purchase flow with Viva Wallet checkout at a discounted price.

Credit Mode

Licenses are created directly (no checkout needed). Each license is tracked on your monthly invoice. A credit limit is enforced.

See Managed Model for details on billing modes.

Bulk Pack Credits

Agency partners with active Bulk Packs automatically consume pack credits when creating licenses. The system deducts from your oldest active pack first.

Check your available credits from the Licenses page → Pack Credits.

See Bulk Packs for more information.

Revoking & Deleting Licenses

Revoke

Revoking a license immediately deactivates it on all domains. The license enters "Revoked" status.

  • Single revoke — click the revoke button on any license
  • Bulk revoke — select multiple licenses and click Bulk Revoke (up to 100)

Reactivate

You can reactivate a revoked license for free (if it hasn't expired). The license returns to Active status.

Permanent Delete

Only revoked licenses can be permanently deleted. This is irreversible.

  • Single delete — only for revoked licenses, blocked if the license has been invoiced
  • Bulk delete — select multiple revoked licenses and delete them at once (up to 100)
caution

Permanent deletion cannot be undone. The license key, activation history, and all associated data are removed.
