Commitment Tiers

Agency Only

Commitment Tiers are exclusively available to Agency partners.

Commitment Tiers offer the deepest discounts in the Flavor partner program. By committing to purchase a minimum number of licenses over a 12-month period, you lock in a reduced per-license rate.

How It Works

  1. Enroll in a tier — no upfront payment
  2. Deploy licenses to your clients throughout the year at the committed rate
  3. Track progress — see how many licenses you've deployed vs. your target
  4. At year-end:
    • Target met — enrollment completes successfully
    • Target not met — a penalty is assessed for the shortfall

Tiers, targets, and discounts are displayed on the Commitment Tiers page and may be adjusted by admin.

Enrolling

  1. Go to Partner DashboardCommitment Tiers
  2. Review the available tiers and pricing
  3. Select:
    • Tier — Bronze, Silver, or Gold
    • Bundle — Starter or Business
  4. Click Enroll

No payment is required at enrollment. You commit to deploying the target number of licenses within 365 days.

Billing Mode

Commitment Tiers use prepaid billing only — each license is purchased individually via Viva Wallet checkout. There is no credit/invoice billing option for this model.

Deploying Licenses

Once enrolled, deploy licenses through the Add / Upgrade Site page:

  1. Go to Add / Upgrade Site in the sidebar
  2. Select a client (mandatory — all commitment licenses must be assigned to a client)
  3. Review your committed rate and complete the Viva Wallet checkout
  4. The license is created for the client and your progress is updated

Each deployment counts toward your commitment target.

Upgrading Starter to Business

If your commitment is for Starter licenses and you want to deploy a Business license:

  1. Go to Add / Upgrade SiteUpgrade to Business tab
  2. Select the client whose Starter license you want to upgrade
  3. Choose the license from the dropdown
  4. The pro-rated Starter → Business difference is charged via Viva Wallet

Upgrades require an existing active Starter license. Deploy a Starter license first, then upgrade it.

Tracking Progress

Your commitment progress is visible in two places:

  • Partner Dashboard — Commitment card showing tier, progress bar, per-license price, remaining target, and projected penalty
  • Commitment Tiers page — Detailed view with enrollment history

Progress details include:

  • Enrollment info — tier, bundle, per-license price, enrollment date
  • Progress — licenses deployed vs. target (e.g., 7/20)
  • Period end date — when your commitment expires
  • Days remaining
  • Projected shortfall — how many more you need to deploy to avoid penalty

Model Switching

While enrolled in a commitment:

  • If you haven't deployed any licenses yet — you can switch to a different partner model
  • If you have deployed licenses — model switching is blocked until the commitment period ends or you reach your target

This protects both you and the program from partial commitments.

Enrollment History

View all current and past enrollments at Commitment TiersHistory:

  • Tier and bundle
  • Progress at completion
  • Final status (Active, Completed, Penalized)
  • Penalty amount (if applicable)

Penalty for Shortfall

If you don't reach your target by the end of the 365-day period:

  1. The shortfall is calculated (target - deployed)
  2. A penalty is assessed: shortfall x per-license price x penalty rate
  3. Default penalty rate: 50% of the shortfall value
  4. If you have a card on file, the penalty is auto-charged
  5. A penalty invoice is generated (format: PEN-YYYY-MM-XXXX)
  6. You receive email notification of the penalty

Example

Gold tier commitment: 30 licenses at EUR 50/license Deployed: 22 licenses Shortfall: 8 licenses Penalty: 8 x EUR 50 x 50% = EUR 200

Avoiding Penalties

Monitor your progress regularly on the Partner Dashboard. The "projected shortfall" indicator helps you plan your deployments to meet the target on time.

Important Notes

  • Only one active enrollment at a time
  • You cannot cancel an active enrollment (admin can cancel without penalty)
  • Licenses deployed under a commitment are tracked and linked to the enrollment
  • If you reach the target before the period ends, the enrollment is automatically marked as "Completed"
  • All license purchases require client selection — use your NFR licenses for personal testing
